We hebben heel erg genoten van onze dagen in jullie schitterende mountain-lodge. Wat een prachtige omgeving en een schitterende inrichting. Daar is heel goed over nagedacht. Heerlijk comfortabel en toch heel natuurlijk en passend in de ongeving. Ook het eten was meer dan uitstekend. Gelukkig voor ons figuur bleven we maar 3 dagen. We hopen echt nog eens terug te komen! Heel veel succes met het uitbouwen van jullie Game Park.

Awesome experience
Henk and Marietta are the most brilliant hosts, who really go out of their way to please their guests. The chalets are beautifully decorated and overall our stay at 24 Riviere was wonderful - will definitely recommend this gem.

We zijn weer in een regenachtig holland, erg groen en nat....wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblij in SA, superveel gezien en een aantal onderdelen zeker voor herhaling vatbaar, zeker ook 24Riviere PGF.
Jullie hebben het prima voor elkaar, ook leuk jullie te hebben leren kennen, groeten aan kids.

You have a beautiful place and your taste is superb, I need to get some recipies to keep Trish happy.

We already miss the bush...in fact, we missed it when we drove out the gate!!! We would just like to thank you for your wonderful hospitality this weekend. We really had a wonderful time and are struggling to accept the fact that we need to be back in the city again! we would like to thank you so much for the enjoyable stay at your farm. It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in South Africa. Especially sitting in the warm jacuzzi and looking at the unbelievable night sky of the southern hemisphere was really wonderful.
Now, having returned to everyday life, we are already missing the bush, the animals, the beauty of the landscapes, the fantastic light in the afternoon.....We really hope that Henk is better now and you and the kids are alright.

Bedankt voor jullie mailtje. We hebben een prachtige vakantie gehad en zeker in 24 Riviere, wat een verwennerij, heerlijk eten en de service was perfekt. Het apératiefje bij het vuur, de jacuzzi, het was echt vakantie. Maar wat een afschuwelijk bericht dat het nu zomaar verbrand is, we kunnen het ons nog niet voorstellen, we hebben prachtige videobeelden en dat het huis dan zomaar weg is , dit is niet te bevatten. We wensen jullie veel sterkte met de wederopbouw. We zullen het aan iedereen aanbevelen ,er waren al vrienden die interesse toonden.We zijn inmiddels een week thuis en in Holland is de zomer wel voorbij. Beste Maryetta en Henk,
4 nachten bij jullie gast te zijn was voor ons een zeer plezierige en persoonlijke ervaring. Verwende reizigers als wij zijn, zien en vergelijken we automatisch.....
-prachtige / elegante entree tot jullie land met toegangspoort die naar 'meer' doet
verlangen.
-Onze private Lodge, prachtig ontwerp (en dat hoor je van een fullblooded architect),
schitterende locatie met weids uitzicht over vlakte en heuvels vanaf een magnifiek
sundeck waar een whirlpool overdag op plezierige wijze de hitte wegneemt en
's nachts heerlijk warm je in stilte laat genieten van een indrukwekkende
sterrenhemel.
-Heerlijk eten en steeds afwisselend maar vooral jullie plezierige gezelschap.
En gisteren de 2 giraffen naast onze jeep en aansluitend een sundowner met drank
en hapjes.
We komen terug (met vrienden!)

We had a superb time and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and isolation. We went on a pleasant game drive made all the better by the sundowners provided. Our stay was simply wonderful. The chalets are designed with everything being thought of from the location through to the baths and bedding. The food was excellent with plenty to be had at alll times. All in all a fantastic, peaceful and relaxing stay.

For this year no more writings in the guest book. 24Riviere was destroyed in a field fire and we had to close for long time. Easter 2008 we opened again.
